Clear terms for quotes, bookings, payments and workmanship.
AM Home Improvements provides home improvement and interior fitting services, including (but not limited to) kitchen and furniture installation, flooring installation, parquet restoration, wall & floor tiling, and drywall/partition systems. The exact scope of work is agreed in writing (quote, message or invoice description).
Quotes are based on the information available at the time (measurements, photos, and any site visit details). If site conditions change or hidden issues are found (e.g., uneven subfloor, damaged walls, plumbing/electrical issues), the final price and timeline may change. Any changes will be discussed and agreed before continuing.
A booking may require a deposit to secure dates, especially for larger projects. Payment terms will be confirmed in writing. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due on completion of the agreed stage or completion of the work.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs at short notice or after materials have been ordered. Any charges will reflect actual time and costs incurred.
Where materials are supplied by the customer, you are responsible for ensuring they are suitable, correct size and quantity, and delivered on time. I am not responsible for defects in customer-supplied materials. Additional visits caused by missing/incorrect materials may be chargeable.
I aim to deliver clean, careful and professional workmanship. Any concerns should be reported as soon as possible so I can inspect and, where appropriate, rectify. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or manufacturer defects in materials/products.
You agree to provide reasonable access to the property, safe working conditions and (where possible) nearby parking. If parking permits or paid parking are required, please discuss this in advance.
I take care to avoid damage; however, I am not liable for pre-existing issues or hidden defects. Liability is limited to the value of the services provided, except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Submitting a form on this website does not guarantee availability. I will contact you to confirm details and schedule. I may decline work if it is unsafe, outside my service area, or not within my scope.
